Leon County hosted the 16th Annual Fire Truck Roundup on Saturday, October 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bannerman Crossing, on the southwest corner of Thomasville Road and Bannerman Road. The community was encouraged to attend this fun and exciting appreciation event in honor of Leon County’s Volunteer Firefighters. Children were able to explore fire truck equipment and enjoy family-friendly music. Additionally, volunteers offered free hot dogs and drinks, face painting and give-a-ways.
